How to care for your jewellery

To keep your jewellery looking its best we reccomend you follow the below points to help keep the sparkle and reduce tarnishing (which naturally happens to silver over time)

    – Avoid wearing your jewellery while showering, bathing, swimming or in bed
    – Do not spray perfumes or apply body lotions onto your jewellery
    – If your silver jewellery does become slightly tarnished dont worry! this can easily be reversed by polishing your silver with a soft jewellery polishing cloth

Please take care when removing bangles, the easiest way to remove them is by sliding them off the smaller side of your wrist

Store all jewellery with care overnight, ideally in a jewellery box or somewhere simular

    Differences in jewellery

As all items are handstamped there may be some differences in how deep each letter is stamped and they may not always follow a perfect line.

This is the beauty of handstamped jewellery as each piece is lovingly made and unique (even if 2 people order exactly the same they will never be identical)

    Postage & delivery times

All orders will be dispatched within 10-14 working days.

Once a postage option has been selected ie. recorded delivery and it states 2-3 working days please note that this is the time of delivery once posted and NOT from ordering.

**ALL DELIVERY TIMES ONCE POSTED ARE AN ESTIMATE – UNFORTUNATELY DELAYS WITH ROYAL MAIL DO SOMETIMES OCCUR WHICH IS COMPLETELY OUT OF MY CONTROL – IF YOU REQUIRE YOUR ORDER FOR A SPECIFIC DATE YOUR BEST OPTION IS TO CONTACT MYSELF PRIOR TO ORDERING (IF ITS LESS THAN THE 10-14 DAY DESPATCH TIME) PUT A NOTE ON YOUR ORDER AND SELECT SPECIAL DELIVERY AS THIS IS GUARANTEED NEXT DAY ONCE POSTED**

    Returns & cancellations

Should you wish to cancel your order for whatever reason you may do so within 24 hour of the order being placed – please email me through the contact form above ASAP

Unfortunately as all Items are handstamped and personalised I do not accept returns.

However I am only human and from time to time I may make a mistake – if this is the case please get in touch ASAP and I will rectify my mistake.

(PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR PERSONALISATION WHEN ORDERING)

    About Your Jewellery

Precious metals are rarely used in their purest form but are usually alloyed with other metals for workability, durability, wearability. It isn’t possible to detect an article’s precious metal content by sight or touch. Therefore, it is a legal requirement for an Assay Office to hallmark articles containing precious metals if they are described as such.

Hallmarks are marks applied to precious metals to indicate the amount of pure metal in the alloy. Traditionally applied by striking with a punch, hallmarks can now also be applied using lasers.

    A hallmark:

    • Consists of a series of marks applied to articles of the precious metals platinum, gold, palladium and silver
    • Means that the article has been independently tested
    • Guarantees that it conforms to all legal standards of purity (fineness)
    • Guarantees provenance by telling us, as a minimum legal requirement, where the piece was hallmarked, what the article is made from, and who sent the article for hallmarking

    Exemptions Not Requiring a Hallmark:

Articles weighing less than the following will not carry a hallmark:

    • Gold weighing less than 1 gram
    • Silver weighing less than 7.78 grams
    • Platinum weighing less than 0.5 gram
    • Palladium weighing less than 1 gram

You can find more information on hallmarking here.

    Liability

I cannot accept any liability for lost or damaged jewellery being sent to myself for repairs or to work with.

Any stones sent to be set are also sent at the customers risk as I have not sourced the stones myself so cannot verify the quality and origin. Every care will be taken when working with any piece of jewellery but I cannot be held responsible for cracks or damages on stones not sourced by myself.
